Job Description

A full-time, onsite opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) focusing on school-based therapy services is available in Los Angeles, CA. This contract role serves a K-12 caseload in a dynamic educational setting, providing interventions and support to students with diverse needs while collaborating with educators and families to promote student success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individual and group occupational therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to students' educational goals and therapeutic needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities and promote student engagement.
  • Document student progress and maintain compliance with school and state regulations.
  • Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and provide recommendations to support student development.

Qualifications:

  • Active California Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
  • Experience providing occupational therapy services in school settings.
  • Strong understanding of K-12 educational environments and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to manage a full-time caseload with attention to detail and organization.
