Key Qualifications:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Ohio
• Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school environment
• Knowledge of individualized education programs (IEPs), related documentation, and compliance processes
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Adaptability and resourcefulness in addressing a range of student needs
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate students motor, sensory, adaptive, and functional skills
• Develop and implement therapy interventions tailored to each students IEP goals
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other therapists to ensure cohesive support
• Maintain accurate and timely records of evaluations, progress notes, and treatment sessions
• Provide input and recommendations to the IEP team for enhancing student access to the curriculum
• Offer training and guidance to school staff on strategies and adaptive tools for classroom success
• Support inclusive participation and reduce barriers to learning for all students
