Job Description

Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students across the K-12 spectrum as an Occupational Therapist. The assignment covers a diverse caseload of 55 students, serving multiple sites in a vibrant, supportive school community and is located near Longview, WA, with proximity to Vancouver, Woodland, and Camas.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure and ESA certification
  • Experience in pediatric, school-based, or educational settings preferred
  • Ability to manage a comprehensive K-12 caseload and document services in accordance with IEPs
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills working with teachers, staff, and families
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Passion for promoting student independence and participation in the school environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services for students with diverse disabilities
  • Contribute to IEP development and deliver evidence-based interventions
  • Assess and document student progress, and adjust goals as needed
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Offer training or guidance to school personnel and caregivers as appropriate

This contract role runs from early January to mid-June, with the potential to renew for the following school year. Candidates will benefit from a responsive interview process and flexible scheduling to facilitate a positive onboarding experience.
