Job Description

A school-based occupational therapy professional is needed to provide services for students in grades K-12 within a public school setting in Ridgefield, WA. This contract position involves a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week, supporting a caseload of approximately 55 students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy interventions tailored to the needs of school-aged children (K-12).
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all relevant educational and healthcare regulations.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid ESA (Educational Staff Associate) credential or equivalent certification in occupational therapy.
  • Experience working in school settings serving diverse student populations.
  • Ability to manage a caseload of 50+ students effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative approach.
  • Flexibility with interview scheduling and rapid decision-making capability.

Location Details:

  • Position is based in Ridgefield, Washington, with potential travel between Vancouver, Woodland, and Camas areas as needed.
