Working onsite, youll serve a diverse mix of elementary, middle, and possibly high school students, providing essential evaluations and therapy interventions that make a lasting difference.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid and active Occupational Therapy license (required)
- Previous experience delivering OT services in a K12 school setting, specifically elementary and/or middle grades, strongly preferred
- Expertise in conducting individual evaluations and managing caseloads
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
- Approachability, creativity, and teamwork orientation
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized intervention plans for students
- Deliver targeted therapy sessions and re-evaluations, adapting to diverse needs across age levels
- Support overflow evaluations and case management duties as assigned
- Collaborate with other specialists, teachers, and families to monitor student progress
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation and contribute to IEP/504 meetings
- Participate in interdisciplinary discussions and provide practical support to school teams
Position Details:
- Contract through May 20th, 2027
- 36-hour workweek, TuesdayFriday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
- Onsite only, fostering hands-on, student-centered support
