Take your occupational therapy expertise into a dynamic school environment, supporting students in their educational journey! This contract opportunity involves working onsite with a diverse student caseload in a supportive, collaborative setting. Youll play a key role in fostering student growth and functional independence, integrating your OT skills within school-based programming.

Key Qualifications:

• Current occupational therapy license required
• Prior experience in a pediatric or school-based OT setting preferred
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Commitment to providing inclusive, student-centered therapy

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group OT services, supporting IEP goals
• Assess student needs and develop targeted intervention plans
• Document assessments, progress notes, and reports per school protocols
• Consult with teachers and staff to integrate strategies into classroom routines
• Provide recommendations for adaptive equipment, classroom modifications, and sensory supports
• Engage with families to support carryover of skills and encourage student participation
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute professional insights to team discussions
• Maintain compliance with legal, ethical, and professional standards
