Take the next step in your occupational therapy career with an exciting onsite contract position supporting students growth and development. This part-time opportunity, based near Longmont, CO, runs from August 13, 2026, through May 20, 2027. Ideal for a dedicated OT who is passionate about making a real difference, youll enjoy working consistently with a manageable caseload of 20 students each week.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active OT license for the state
- Experience working in school-based settings is preferred
- Familiarity with developing and implementing IEP goals
- Understanding of district and state requirements for school-based therapy professionals
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students needs and develop individualized treatment plans in alignment with educational goals
- Deliver direct therapy services onsite, adjusting interventions as needed to support student progress
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure cohesive support
- Document student performance, progress, and response to interventions according to regulatory standards
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expert guidance and recommendations
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education in pediatric and school-based OT
