Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license issued by the state of California
  • Previous experience in school-based settings supporting K-12 caseloads preferred
  • Strong collaborative skills for working with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities
  • Adaptability to diverse learning environments and student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students occupational therapy needs in motor skills, sensory processing, and functional skills
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans tailored to student goals
  • Provide direct therapy sessions, as well as consultation and support for teachers and staff
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records in compliance with school and state regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations
  • Educate families and school personnel on strategies for in-class and at-home support
