Job Description

Exciting opportunities are available for experienced Occupational Therapists eager to support K-12 students in the San Fernando Valley region. This full-time, onsite role runs the duration of the academic year, from early August to early June. Assignments may cover a single school or multiple campuses, and itinerant schedules are a possibility. The environment thrives on professionals who are self-directed and comfortable making informed decisions with limited supervision.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapy license in the state of California
  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy (required)
  • Demonstrated understanding of school-based OT practices
  • Familiarity with educational terminology and standardized assessments
  • Knowledge of the Special Education process in educational environments
  • Experience or comfort with variable caseloads spanning grades K-12
  • Ability to adapt to different school settings, including itinerant positions
  • Strong communication and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver OT services to students ranging from kindergarten through high school
  • Conduct assessments and participate in IEP meetings as required
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Maintain accurate student records in compliance with Special Education guidelines and professional standards
  • Travel between assigned campuses as necessary for itinerant roles
  • Engage in ongoing communication with school personnel to monitor student progress
