Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a practicing Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric environment preferred
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary team members
- Dedication to developing tailored interventions supporting student growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students needs while working closely with teachers and staff to identify areas requiring OT support
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students fine motor, sensory, and functional challenges
- Document progress, maintain thorough records, and communicate results with families and staff
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional input on student goals and progress
- Incorporate creative and evidence-based strategies to foster engagement and positive outcomes
- Offer training and resources to educators and parents for classroom and at-home success
