Qualifications:

• Active Michigan occupational therapist license required
• Previous school-based OT experience highly preferred
• Background in providing therapy services to elementary, middle, and high school-aged children
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
• Compassion, empathy, and a passion for empowering students with diverse needs

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students strengths and challenges in the school setting
• Develop and implement targeted interventions and treatment plans
• Participate in IEP meetings and school team collaborations
• Provide direct and consultative OT services to students as specified in IEPs
• Document progress, maintain compliance records, and communicate with families and staff
• Collaborate with educators and support staff on classroom accommodations and modifications
