Key Qualifications:

• Current and active Michigan Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
• Experience working in schools, healthcare, or home health settings preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
• Ability to assess, develop, and execute therapeutic plans for K-12 children
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and support staff

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in school and home settings
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and other support professionals
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and accommodations
• Document therapy sessions and progress in accordance with state and district guidelines
• Adapt equipment and materials for students with special needs to support their educational goals
• Consult with families and participate in multidisciplinary meetings to provide cohesive care

Position Details:

• Contract position, 35-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• Engage with students in kindergarten through 12th grade, tailoring your approach for each developmental stage
