Qualifications & Experience:
- Holds a valid Michigan Occupational Therapist license
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is a plus
- Comfortable traversing multiple sites within a district
- Skilled at fostering positive relationships with students, staff, and families
- Adaptable and solution-oriented, able to tailor interventions for K-12 populations
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students needs and develop individualized intervention plans
- Provide direct therapy and consultation services to students, supporting their educational and functional goals
- Work closely with educators, support staff, and families to integrate therapeutic strategies into daily routines
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings, contributing substantially to student success
- Travel between district school sites as needed (mileage reimbursed per district policy)
