Qualifications & Experience:

  • Holds a valid Michigan Occupational Therapist license
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is a plus
  • Comfortable traversing multiple sites within a district
  • Skilled at fostering positive relationships with students, staff, and families
  • Adaptable and solution-oriented, able to tailor interventions for K-12 populations

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students needs and develop individualized intervention plans
  • Provide direct therapy and consultation services to students, supporting their educational and functional goals
  • Work closely with educators, support staff, and families to integrate therapeutic strategies into daily routines
  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings, contributing substantially to student success
  • Travel between district school sites as needed (mileage reimbursed per district policy)
