Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active OT license valid in Colorado
  • Experience working with school-aged children, including those with special needs
  • Understanding of IEP process and ability to contribute to goal-setting and student plans
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify student needs and develop individualized intervention plans
  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services within school settings
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations regarding therapy goals and accommodations
  • Offer guidance and training to teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to support students success across settings
  • Adapt interventions to suit the unique needs and strengths of each student
