Job Description

Make a meaningful impact by providing occupational therapy services to students for the full academic year in the scenic area near Golden and Littleton, Colorado. As an Occupational Therapist in a school-based contract role, you'll collaborate with dedicated educators and professionals to support students in achieving their educational and developmental goals.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current Colorado OT license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt strategies to individual student needs and collaborate effectively with staff and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services in accordance with students IEPs
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and parents to foster student growth
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to enhance student functional performance in school environments
  • Adjust interventions as needed to support students academic and social participation
