Step into an impactful role supporting students as an Occupational Therapist for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity offers you the chance to make a difference across multiple schools, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a collaborative setting.
In this position, youll work as an itinerant practitioner, traveling between school sites to meet the diverse needs of your caseload. Youll collaborate with a supportive in-house OT team, participate in IEP meetings, and use your expertise to help students succeed in their educational journey.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapist certification/license in Colorado.
- Current CDE (Colorado Department of Education) credentials required.
- Prior school-based OT experience preferred, but all qualified applicants encouraged to apply.
- Ability to work effectively with K-12 students across multiple school sites.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans.
- Provide direct and consultative OT services to students, in alignment with IEP goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student development.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and professional development with the in-house OT team.
