This part-time summer assignment calls for a credentialed Occupational Therapist motivated to support extended school year (ESY) programs. You'll work itinerantly, providing essential services with a flexible schedule, and be part of an engaged educational community. Training on local IEP systems and paid travel between sites set the stage for a supportive experience.

What You'll Need to Qualify:

  • Current OT license and credentials in Michigan
  • Prior experience in school-based and/or pediatric home health OT settings
  • Familiarity with caseload or workload service models
  • Ideal for those seeking exposure to diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver ESY occupational therapy services in school settings, Tues/Wed/Thur from 8am to noon (July 7 Aug 6)
  • Adapt therapy to individual student IEPs; indirect hours and team meeting participation as directed
  • Travel between district sites as part of your itinerant assignment
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Document services and progress per district procedures
