Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current OT license in Nebraska (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes, goal development, and progress documentation
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Organized, flexible, and able to adapt to diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students strengths and areas requiring support
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students IEP goals
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in classrooms and small group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed, maintaining clear documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered planning
- Educate staff and families on strategies to enhance motor skills, sensory processing, and independence
