As an Occupational Therapist working on a contract basis, youll work closely with students, educators, and families to empower clients in developing crucial life and academic skills. Key Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of Nebraska (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous school-based or pediatric OT experience preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development and documentation
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for collaborating with students, staff, and families
• Creative, adaptable approach to therapy in a school setting
• Commitment to fostering inclusion and student independence

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students therapy needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
• Deliver engaging, evidence-based interventions to help students participate fully in school activities
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other specialists to support student progress
• Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation in a timely manner
• Offer guidance and education to families and staff on strategies promoting student success
