Step into a rewarding contract role providing occupational therapy services within a supportive and collaborative educational setting. Two exciting opportunities are available for dedicated professionals: one position with an early intervention caseload spanning 11 months, and another serving K-12 students within a dynamic school environment. Both positions are full-time, beginning August 10th, 2026, and concluding June 17th, 2027.
Essential Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Maryland
- Experience working as an OT in or with school-based populations, including early intervention and/or K-12 settings
- Understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and tailored therapy interventions for diverse student needs
- Strong communication and documentation skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary educational team
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy services to students in alignment with IEP goals
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress for a varied caseload
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers to support students academic and functional progress
- Participate actively in team meetings, IEP conferences, and staff development sessions
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
