Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a nearby educational setting as an Occupational Therapist. This six-week assignment, beginning in mid-October, is ideal for professionals interested in making an immediate impact while enjoying a dynamic work environment.

In this role, you will work 37.5 hours per week, serving a K-12 caseload across multiple school sites. You'll collaborate closely with a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)sharing caseload responsibilities while providing direct supervision and mentorship. Your expertise will support students development, helping them overcome barriers to learning and thrive academically and socially.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong clinical and interpersonal skills, paired with current state credentials and the ability to support and supervise allied health staff in an educational framework.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of Indiana
  • Experience in school-based occupational therapy is preferred
  • Proven ability to supervise a COTA
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative abilities
  • Comfortable traveling between multiple school sites as part of the weekly schedule

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Assess students needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
  • Supervise and guide the COTA in their daily tasks
  • Maintain thorough records and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
