This opportunity is ideal for a licensed Occupational Therapist seeking to provide specialized OT services in a school setting. Located in Lehigh Acres, FL, this contract position offers a focused caseload working with students from kindergarten through eighth grade. The role involves both direct therapy interventions and consultative support to enhance student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to K-8 students
- Provide consultative support to educational staff and families
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student development
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Florida Occupational Therapist license
- Experience working in school-based therapy settings preferred
- Ability to manage a small caseload effectively (1 hour/week)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
