Job Description

This role focuses on delivering Occupational Therapy (OT) services across a variety of settings, including school-based, home health, healthcare facilities, and teletherapy, within a supportive environment on an 11-month academic schedule.

Key Requirements:

  • Current Occupational Therapist license (required)
  • Experience in schools, home health, teletherapy, and healthcare OT settings
  • Comfortable working with special education students ages 6-21
  • Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week on a contract basis
  • Itinerant flexibilitywilling to travel between assigned sites as needed
  • Familiarity with IEP processes (training on school system provided)
  • Not open to COTA applicants

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized and group OT interventions for students as outlined on IEPs
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate therapeutic activities to promote student success
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and other professionals
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports adhering to school guidelines
  • Participate in paid team meetings and administrative time as scheduled
  • Adapt services to meet diverse functional and educational needs; utilize technology as required for teletherapy
  • Uphold confidentiality and district compliance standards
