A full-time Occupational Therapist opportunity is available at a school located in Las Cruces, NM, providing services primarily to elementary, middle, and high school students. This contract position offers 37.5 hours per week of in-person work, focusing on delivering essential OT support within an educational setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring for approximately 30 students, primarily in elementary grades
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and therapy plans
• Support student development in fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities to enhance classroom participation
• Maintain accurate documentation of services, goals, and outcomes according to school standards and regulatory requirements
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the overall educational success of students

Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with relevant credentials to practice in New Mexico
• Experience working within a school setting, preferably with elementary-aged students
• Strong understanding of educational therapy services and IEP processes
• Ability to engage effectively with students, families, and educational professionals
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
