Your experience as an OT or COTA will help support students of all ages to achieve their learning goals. This assignment is best suited for professionals who are flexible and thrive in dynamic school environments.
What Were Looking For:
- Valid New Mexico OT licensure (NMRLD)
- NMPED certification, or the ability to obtain one promptly
- Experience providing OT services in school settings preferred
- Eagerness to supervise and collaborate with COTAs
- Willingness to travel between multiple school sites as needed
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
What You'll Do:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to K-12 students across various campuses
- Assess student needs, develop and implement individualized interventions
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other therapy professionals
- Supervise COTAs and help guide their development
- Manage caseload documentation efficiently and accurately
- Engage in creative solutions to support diverse student needs
