Your expertise will make a meaningful difference as you work onsite, collaborating with school staff and potentially supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs). Versatility and a willingness to travel between school sites are key, as youll provide support to students of all ages, helping them maximize their independence and participation in the educational setting.

Qualifications:

• Active NM state Occupational Therapy licensure (NMRLD) and NMPED certification required by the start date (NMPED certification is a streamlined process for proactive applicants)
• Open to OTs and COTAs with required certifications
• Experience in school-based or pediatric OT preferred
• Ability and willingness to supervise COTAs as needed
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between multiple school sites
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative OT services in accordance with IEP goals
• Assess student needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and compliance documentation
• Work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Supervise and mentor COTAs, ensuring quality care
