This contract position is based near Lapeer, MI, and offers the opportunity to collaborate with dedicated staff, implement individualized student programs, and impact the daily experiences of learners.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current and valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Michigan
• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but open to candidates with strong pediatric backgrounds
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators, support staff, and families
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students functional abilities and develop evidence-based, individualized intervention plans
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students with a range of needs
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations tailored to each students goals
• Maintain accurate and timely records, including therapy notes and progress reports
• Adapt and modify classroom materials and environments to support student access and participation
• Engage in ongoing communication with teachers, administrators, and caregivers to monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed
