Job Description

We're seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide services for an elementary caseload in the Charlotte, MI area. This contract opportunity focuses on supporting students growth, collaboration with educators, and helping learners achieve their fullest potential in the school environment. Youll be working with a manageable caseloadwell below the maximum cap of 65allowing you to deliver quality, individualized care.

Ideal candidates will bring a commitment to fostering student independence, strong communication abilities, and the skills to thrive in a collaborative school setting.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Michigan
  • Prior experience with pediatric or school-based therapy (preferred)
  • Working knowledge of IEPs, assessments, and goal writing
  • Ability to cultivate positive relationships with students, staff, and families
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Willingness to work onsite in Charlotte, MI

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students to identify needs and develop measurable goals
  • Plan and implement individualized and group therapy sessions
  • Design and adapt interventions for academic and functional success
  • Participate actively in meetings with educators and IEP teams
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation
  • Educate staff and families on strategies for student support
