Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly preferred
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented environment for students of varying needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students fine motor, sensory, and adaptive needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and interventions
- Collaborate closely with educators and school staff to support student success within the classroom setting
- Provide direct therapy services, both individually and in small groups, targeting IEP goals
- Maintain clear documentation for evaluations, interventions, and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate recommendations with parents and team members
- Offer training and resources to school staff and families on strategies to support student progress
