Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students growth and development in a dynamic educational environment. In this full-time position (37.5 hours weekly, in-person), youll have a meaningful impact working with a manageable caseload of about 30 students, primarily at the elementary level, while also collaborating in both middle and high school settings.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy (OT) license and credentials required
  • Experience working in school-based settings preferred
  • Confidence managing a caseload across elementary, middle, and high school populations
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with educational staff and families
  • Ability to adapt interventions to individual student needs
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive, positive learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students with a variety of abilities, focusing on functional outcomes in the classroom
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals in coordination with IEP teams
  • Assess student needs, abilities, and challenges; document progress and maintain clear records
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and support staff to support learning and accessibility
  • Provide strategies and resources to both students and school staff to maximize student independence and participation
  • Participate in team meetings, student evaluations, and parent conferences as needed
