Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as an Occupational Therapist for the 2026 fall semester. This full-time position is based near Bloomington, MN, with an assignment running from August through December. Enjoy working within a structured 3:1 service delivery model, focusing exclusively on therapyno case management requiredallowing you to dedicate your skills directly to student progress and development.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current and valid Minnesota Occupational Therapy license required
- Previous OT experience in school settings is highly valued
- Knowledge of best practices in school-based therapy and commitment to evidence-based interventions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with teams of educators, families, and support staff
- Comfortable working full-time, 40 hours per week during the specified assignment period
Responsibilities and Daily Duties:
- Deliver therapeutic interventions to students in line with their individual education plans
- Utilize a 3:1 model: three weeks direct services, one week indirect services/documentation
- Collaborate with teachers and other related service professionals to support student outcomes
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation of services provided and student progress
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and on-site team discussions as needed
