Job Description

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license (OTR/L) required
  • Experience working in school-based settings strongly preferred
  • Ability to adapt therapeutic interventions to diverse student needs across K-12 grades
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with teachers, families, and administration
  • Organizational skills to manage schedules and documentation efficiently

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students according to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments to determine students functional needs and make recommendations for adaptive equipment if needed
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success within the educational environment
  • Document all services and progress in compliance with district standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and ongoing staff collaboration
