Job Description

An opportunity is available for a licensed Occupational Therapist to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Lake Placid, FL. This full-time contract position is ideal for a dedicated professional passionate about making a meaningful impact on student development and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to K-12 students, assessing and developing personalized intervention plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and integration
  • Document and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress in accordance with school policies
  • Adapt therapy techniques to meet the diverse needs of students across various grade levels
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) development as required

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current and active Florida Occupational Therapist license is required
  • Experience working with school-aged children (K-12) strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Contract Duration: Immediate start through May 27, 2026
