Job Description
This full-time Occupational Therapist position offers a rewarding opportunity to support students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a school setting located in Lake City, FL. As a travel assignment from August 5, 2026, to May 27, 2027, you will work 35 hours per week providing essential therapy services to help children develop skills necessary for success in the educational environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing and evaluating students occupational therapy needs
- Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to optimize student outcomes
- Documenting progress and maintaining compliance with state and school regulations
- Supporting students across various grade levels (K-12) to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional independence
Qualifications and experience required:
- Valid Florida Occupational Therapist license
- Demonstrated experience or specialization in school-based occupational therapy
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently in a travel assignment setting
