Job Description

Be part of a supportive district near Lake City, FL as a Occupational Therapist, helping students build essential skills for success. This position runs the entire upcoming school year with a schedule of 40 hours per week in a collaborative, student-centered setting.

Qualifications:

  • Active FL license in Occupational Therapy
  • Prior experience with pediatric populations, preferably in school-based K12 environments
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and support students with needs related to fine motor development, sensory integration, and daily functional skills
  • Work alongside teachers and multidisciplinary teams to contribute to and implement IEP goals
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services as well as consultation across grade levels
  • Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in accordance with state and school requirements
  • Communicate with families and school staff to promote carryover of skills and strategies
  • Modify interventions to support diverse student abilities and learning styles
