Job Description

A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available in Lake City, FL, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a school setting. This contract role spans from August 5, 2026, to May 27, 2027, offering a consistent 35-hour workweek. The ideal candidate holds a valid Florida Occupational Therapy license and has experience working in school-based settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to K-12 students to support their educational and developmental needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Conduct assessments, monitor progress, and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Florida Occupational Therapy license is mandatory.
  • Experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
