Job Description

In this contract Occupational Therapy role, youll work closely with students, teachers, and families to foster student independence and academic success through specialized interventions. This assignment focuses on providing essential OT services across a variety of settings, including schools, homes, healthcare facilities, and through teletherapy platforms, offering you diversity in your day-to-day responsibilities.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
  • Background in home health, traditional healthcare, and/or teletherapy preferred
  • Strong skills in conducting evaluations, developing IEP goals, and implementing therapy plans
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to work effectively with families, educators, and staff
  • Comfortable adapting materials and strategies to meet individual student needs

What Youll Do:

  • Deliver skilled OT services to students, using a mix of in-person and virtual platforms
  • Collaborate with school teams and caregivers to design interventions supporting student growth
  • Complete assessments and contribute to IEP meetings by providing detailed recommendations
  • Document student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
  • Offer strategies and training to teachers and families for continued student support
