A contract Occupational Therapist (OT) opportunity is available in Kinston, NC, providing services to K-12 students within a school setting. This role offers a chance to work a meaningful schedule of 30-35 hours per week across five days, supporting a caseload of approximately 45 students.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy (OT) licensure in North Carolina is required.
- Relevant credentials and certifications for school-based occupational therapy practice are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy evaluations, interventions, and treatment plans tailored to the needs of students aged kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and school staff to support students learning and developmental goals.
- Document progress and maintain compliance with Individualized Education Program (IEP) requirements.
- Manage a caseload of up to 45 students, providing personalized therapy aimed at enhancing students' functional abilities within the school environment.
