Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of New York
• Prior experience working with school-aged children or within an educational setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of assessing and developing individualized interventions to support students academic and social development

• Ability to adapt strategies to meet diverse student needs and learning styles

Your Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students sensory, motor, and functional skills
• Develop, implement, and track progress for individualized treatment plans in coordination with educators and families
• Provide direct and consultative OT services to students, addressing academic and daily life skills
• Maintain clear documentation and reports per school and regulatory guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional insights on student needs and accommodations
• Offer resources and training to teachers and parents as appropriate
• Remain current with best practices, maintaining licensure and professional development
