Job Description

Step into a dynamic opportunity as a contract Occupational Therapist supporting a school district near Kimberly, ID. This engaging role spans the academic year (August 17, 2026, to May 20, 2027) and offers the chance to work with a diverse student population, focusing on meaningful, student-centered care and collaboration.

Youll be part of a two-OT team, serving a caseload of 400-500 students with IEPs. Assignments will be thoughtfully divided to ensure manageable workloads. All schools are conveniently located within blocks of each other, making travel between sites quick and easy. This is an onsite-only position, perfect for those ready to relocate and immerse themselves in a welcoming community dedicated to student growth.

Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist licensure (or eligibility) in Idaho
  • Previous experience as a school-based OT strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of conducting assessments, writing IEP goals, and delivering direct and consultative therapy services
  • Strong organizational skills and adaptability in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
  • Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
  • Familiarity with special education processes and compliance

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based OT interventions to students with varying needs
  • Complete comprehensive evaluations and develop IEP documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student achievement and independence
  • Travel between assigned schools within the district for on-site therapy sessions
