Make a difference for elementary students with an opportunity designed for a passionate Occupational Therapist interested in a rewarding contract assignment. This full-time, onsite role focuses on serving an elementary caseload within a single school, allowing you to provide consistent care and build meaningful connections with your students. Youll engage collaboratively with educators, families, and other specialists to help children achieve their goals in both academic and functional areas.
Qualifications:
- Valid Washington OT license in good standing
- ESA State Certification required
- Previous professional experience in schools, home health, teletherapy, or pediatric healthcare is highly valuable
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with school staff, students, and families
- Commitment to providing evidence-based, student-centered therapy
- Comfortable working onsite in a school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Screen and evaluate elementary students to determine their OT needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligning with IEP objectives
- Deliver direct therapy onsite and consult with faculty to support student accessibility and participation
- Document progress meticulously to support compliance and positive outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary strategies for student success
- Offer education and support to teachers and families to promote optimal student development

Compensation for this position ranges from $35.00 to $65.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
