Job Description

Make an impact every day as an Occupational Therapist providing vital support to students with varying needs in the Seattle area. This contract opportunity is perfect for professionals passionate about working with school-aged children, ranging from those with moderate to high support needs. Youll play a key role in helping students develop essential life and academic skills, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic school environment.

There are two openings available, with one role based in Central Seattle and the other covering schools throughout central, southwest, and southeast neighborhoods. The assignment runs from early September through the second or third week of December 2026, totaling 37.5 hours per week in an onsite setting.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Must hold an active Washington Occupational Therapist license
  • Active Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certificate required
  • Experience supporting moderate to high needs students strongly preferred
  • School-based OT background helpful but not mandatory
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group therapy to students, adapting approaches according to need
  • Assess, plan, and implement treatment programs in collaboration with staff and families
  • Document progress and participate in IEP meetings
  • Serve as a resource to teachers and staff to integrate therapeutic strategies throughout the learning environment
