Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current OT license (Georgia or eligibility for reciprocity)
- Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to develop rapport with students, collaboratively engage with educators and families, and tailor interventions to individual needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive student assessments to identify strengths and areas for growth
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in accordance with student IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to create accessible, supportive learning environments
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students on your caseload
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress reports, and ongoing therapy session notes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary problem-solving for students educational success
