Qualifications:

• Current Occupational Therapist license issued by the state of Alaska
• Experience or strong interest in school settings and pediatric populations
• Familiarity with a variety of assessment and intervention strategies for school-aged children
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, families, and support staff
• Capability to travel between multiple school sites as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive OT assessments for students referred by school personnel
• Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services, both in-person and remotely
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support student success and independence
• Provide training and resources to teachers and families for carryover of therapy goals
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting following school and professional standards
