Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide school-based services for students in a K8 educational setting. The OT will work with students to support fine motor, sensory, visual motor, self-help, and functional skills necessary for success in the classroom and school environment.

This position will support a caseload of approximately 50 students across K8 grade levels. The ideal candidate will collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to help students achieve educational and developmental goals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations for K8 students
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services
• Support students with fine motor, sensory processing, handwriting, visual motor, and daily living skills
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and special education teams
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings
• Recommend classroom accommodations, adaptive equipment, and sensory strategies
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Promote positive student engagement, participation, and discipline during therapy sessions

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Active state OT license
• Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
