Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current Occupational Therapy license and registration
  • Prior experience providing OT services in schools preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP process and IDEA compliance
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to customize therapy interventions for diverse needs
  • Masters degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
  • Adaptable, organized, and self-motivated

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with a variety of needs
  • Deliver hands-on therapy sessions individually and in small groups
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and family members to achieve student goals
  • Document interventions, progress monitoring, and maintain up-to-date records in line with school and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on goals, accommodations, and modifications
  • Offer guidance and training to school staff regarding effective strategies and accommodations
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
