Job Description

As an Occupational Therapist, you will be supporting students across five elementary campuses, working alongside educators to enhance students participation and achievement. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying needs, developing effective strategies, and fostering an inclusive atmosphere where every child has the chance to thrive.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current, active OT license
  • Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy settings preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with teachers, students, and families
  • Organizational skills necessary to manage a dynamic, multi-campus caseload
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining high professional standards

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver therapeutic services to elementary-aged students as outlined in IEPs and district guidelines
  • Conduct assessments and provide recommendations to support student access and participation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement interventions
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school policies
  • Educate staff and families on strategies that promote student success in the classroom and beyond
