Youll work a consistent 40-hour workweek, providing essential occupational therapy services to students, helping them achieve greater independence and success in the classroom. Qualifications:
- Valid and current Georgia Occupational Therapy License
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric OT setting preferred
- Strong understanding of sensory integration, fine motor development, and functional school-based therapies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to caseload needs and provide individualized interventions
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Deliver direct therapy sessions to preschool and elementary-aged children
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multi-disciplinary teams to maximize student growth
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by school standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert input on strategies and supports
- Monitor and report students progress, adjusting plans as necessary for best outcomes
