Job Description

This full-time contract position, spanning October through December 2026, focuses on supporting students across two welcoming school sites in the Minooka area. Your expertise will impact lives through comprehensive OT evaluation and interventions, addressing a wide range of school-based and home health-related needs. You will collaborate with caring educators and families to build individualized plans that foster student growth and participation.

Key Requirements:
Active Illinois Occupational Therapy license
Previous experience in school, healthcare, and/or home health OT settings strongly preferred
Ability to provide therapy across diverse age groups and needs
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Comfort working between two school locations in Minooka
Commitment to student-centered, evidence-based care

Your Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students as outlined in IEP or 504 plans
Assess needs and progress, maintaining timely documentation
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to develop and implement intervention strategies
Assist with adaptive equipment recommendations and modifications to enhance student participation
Support transitions between classroom, school, and home environments
