Job Description
A full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) opportunity is available at an early childhood school serving students from Pre-Kindergarten through 1st grade. This position offers the chance to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:20 PM, providing therapy to a vibrant group of 51 young learners. The role is contract-based for the current school year (CSY) and is located in Joliet, IL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students from PreK through 1st grade within the school environment
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure continuity of care and support
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and school regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Occupational Therapist license required
- Experience working with early childhood populations is preferred
- Familiarity with school-based OT practices and protocols
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
