Step into a rewarding contract role providing occupational therapy services across a supportive district near Jerome, ID. This opportunity will have you collaborating with another dedicated OT, ensuring effective management of a caseload of 400-500 students with IEPs. With school sites situated close together, your daily commute between assignments is minimal, making your day-to-day routine both efficient and engaging.
In this position, you'll work full-time onsite, delivering therapy and support to students and school teams districtwide. If you're open to relocating, this district welcomes travel professionals who are ready to make a meaningful impact during the upcoming school year, from August 17, 2026, through May 20, 2027.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active Occupational Therapist license
- Experience in school-based OT practice
- Familiarity with IEPs and creating individualized treatment plans
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Willingness to support multiple school sites in close proximity
Your Role Includes:
- Conducting thorough assessments to determine students needs and strengths
- Developing and implementing therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
- Collaborating with teachers, staff, and parents to promote student success
- Maintaining detailed documentation and progress reports
- Traveling between nearby schools to provide direct OT services onsite
