Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students from elementary through middle school as an Occupational Therapist. In this dynamic onsite setting, youll have the chance to positively influence the daily lives and academic journeys of 45 to 50 students each week. Your expertise will be vital in helping children reach their fullest potential in both the classroom and at home.

As a valued member of the team, you'll collaborate closely with educators and families to develop and implement individualized therapy plans, making a lasting difference in the school community.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active North Carolina Occupational Therapist license required
  • Background in school-based OT, home health, or healthcare OT settings preferred
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
  • Experience managing a diverse student caseload ranging from elementary through middle school
  • Enthusiasm for fostering independence and functional skills in educational environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services onsite for approximately 37.5 hours per week
  • Assess student needs and create personalized intervention plans
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals
  • Document progress and maintain compliant records
  • Support transitions and skill-building for students across grade levels
